Rock Detective

Explanation: Budding geologists will try to solve a mystery to determine which intriguing collector has left a mystery bin of rocks at Science Central.  During their investigation, students will use geology tests and a dichotomous key to examine, identify and categorize their rocks. Observation, classification, investigation, inference and communication are reinforced during this lab.
