"Snoozeum" Programs

 

Snoozeums are an exciting way to explore science and have a great time with your troop, group or family.  All Snoozeums run from 5:00 pm to 9:00 am and cost $25.00 per child and $15.00 per adult.  For groups of 10 or more poeple, the cost is $25 per child and $13 per adult.  This cost includes a fun-filled evening of science programming, exhibit time, mid-evening meal of pizza and veggies, a late night movie, the fun of sleeping around the exhibits at Science Central, a continental breakfast, and a pass for free admission to Science Central the following day.  Participants can be registered individually or as a group.

Girl Scouts: Matter in Action: April 18, 2008

Brownies and Girl Scouts will love this action-packed night as we explore science through fun hands-on activities.  Brownies will complete four activities earn the Try It, Science In Action and Girl Scouts will complete six activities to earn the Making It Matter Badge.  

Cub Scouts: Super Science Sleepover: May 2, 2008

The scientific method will come alive as never before as we experiment making the perfect glider.  We will also make a simple electric motor, plant seeds, learn about creatures in our Tidal Pool and much more as we complete the required activities to earn the Science Belt Loop and Academic Pin. 

Family and Group Overnight: Up Up and Away! May 16, 2008

Build a rocket that ricochets off the ceiling, a helicopter that spirals past our Giant Yellow Slide and planes that soar in this fun-filled night of flight.  Families and groups ages 5 and older are invited for a night of FUN!
