Women in Science Day

10 am – 4 pm

You are invited to Women in Science Day at Science Central.  This important event celebrates women scientists in your very own community.  Learn about historically significant woman in science as well.  Participate in hands-on activities.  Attend demonstrations given by women scientists from Northeast Indiana.  Ask the scientists about their inspirations, what a normal day on the job is like for them, and the education required for their positions.  Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to experience how women and science go together perfectly!

Women in Science Day Highlights

Activity Tables will be open from 11:00 until 4:00 and will feature current and historical women who pioneered science.  

 

 

 Special Speakers from 11:00 am till 4:00 pm from local women scientists.
