Science Central is excited to welcome Mandee Mikulski as its new Executive Director.
Mandee grew up in Pennville, Indiana, where Fort Wayne was the “big city” for shopping trips and special occasions—including visits to Science Central. Those early experiences sparked her love for hands-on learning and continue to inspire her passion for making science and creativity accessible to every child.
She brings more than 15 years of nonprofit and community leadership experience, with a strong background in fundraising, marketing, public relations, and event design. In her previous role as Executive Director of the Anderson Museum of Art, Mandee challenged the organization to think in new ways about how the arts could benefit the community and how a historic building could be made more accessible for all.
Mandee is also the proud mom of her daughter, Kalli, who shares her curiosity and creativity. Together, they love exploring new places, trying new experiences, and proving that learning can be both fun and transformative.
Mandee holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and a Master of Arts in Public Relations, along with certifications in fundraising, leadership, and event planning. She is excited to lead Science Central into its next chapter—expanding opportunities for families, strengthening community connections, and sparking curiosity in visitors of all ages.
