Science Central Board member Larry Kay will serve as the Interim Executive Director of Science Central. Kay has committed to serve until a new Executive Director is hired.
A search committee, consisting of Fort Wayne community leaders and board members, is currently evaluating potential candidates to select the best individual to steward Science Central into a successful future.
Effective immediately, Larry will oversee financials and personnel changes.
Given Kay’s strong history with Science Central, having served on the museum’s board for 14 years, Science Central is honored to receive his leadership. Kay’s service on the board includes 6 years as secretary, 2 years as board chairperson, and service on the Development and Marketing Committee. His knowledge of Science Central’s operations, strategies, mission, and vision is solid.
