Science Central partners with a number of area organizations to offer teachers an easy way to schedule two great sites for one day! Your selected venues will work together to finalize the details and then contact you to confirm.

The Basic Process
- Decide which two organizations you would like to attend.
- Pick three potential dates.
- Fill out the convenient online for (Do that here if you are ready).
- The FIRST venue is responsible for contacting the teacher and coordinating with the SECOND venue.
- The Wufoo Form DOES NOT offer programming options.
- The FIRST venue is responsible for coordinating all programming with the teacher.
- Each organization does their own billing or coordinates appropriately.

2ForU Study Trip Policies
Only schools recognized by their state’s Department of Education qualify for Science Central’s Basic Study Trip pricing.
- In Indiana, schools must be listed as accredited on the Indiana Department of Education’s Compass website (click here).
- In Michigan, schools must be listed on the Michigan Center for Educational Performance and Information website (click here).
- In Ohio, schools must be listed on the Ohio Department of Education’s website (click here).
Organizations receiving federal or state funding to provide Pre-K education and institutions of higher education also qualify for the school rate. Study trip rates are only available during the standard school curriculum year (August through mid-June).
Non-profit organizations are eligible to receive our Non-Profit Rate, all other groups can arrange for discounted trips under our Group Pricing Plan.
You must schedule at least three (3) weeks prior to the date of your visit.
The minimum number of students for a Study Trip is fifteen (15). Chaperones and teachers do not count toward the total. All programming follows a minimum number of 15 students as well. If you arrive with less than 15 students, there are two options.
- Pay the cost for the missing students in both admission and program charges.
- Move to the next qualifying rate, be it non-profit with proof, or standard group rate, this would apply to programming as well.
- The maximum number of person for any one group is approximately 200, this would include and all persons, Students, Chaperons and Teachers.
Please check your confirmation email carefully. Science Central will make every reasonable attempt to confirm that a school’s pre-scheduled visit goes as we have planned. Unfortunately, due to the availability of educational staff and scheduling needs, Science Central will not be able to provide programming such as demos to schools on the day of a visit if it was not listed on the confirmation email.
Study Trip admission for Science Central Members is covered. No other admission discount is applicable.
If you need to cancel a registration, you must call or email with your confirmation number two weeks prior to the date of your visit. Cancellation 2 weeks or less from the date of visit will incur a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be 50% of total visit cost (at time of booking). Weather-related cancellations are an exception and will be rescheduled at no additional charge.
Science Central reserves the right to cancel any and all scheduled groups and/or programs without notice due to any deemed circumstances
To make your visit more enjoyable, Science Central invoices all groups post visit. On the day of your visit, please confirm the actual number of students and chaperones at admissions. Any chaperones not arriving with the group and paying separately the day of will be counted as general visitors and not as a part of your group. Therefore, chaperones paying separately are charged the regular, full admission rate.
Pre-K requires a 1:5 adult to student ratio. All other grades require a 1:8 ratio.
While we will make every attempt possible to accommodate you, your special programming may not be available if you arrive late.
Due to the availability of educational staff and scheduling needs, Science Central will not be able to provide programming such as demos to schools on the day of a visit if it was not listed on the confirmation email.
Science Central and the media frequently take photos/videos of visitors which may be used for future Science Central promotions or publicity. These photos may be used without your consent and without compensation. If you do not want your image used, please avoid photographers and inform them of your desire. As a visitor, you are welcome to take photos for non-commercial use at Science Central.

Due to circumstances, Science Central reserves the right to change, alter, and or cancel schedule events or groups at Science Central’s discretion.

Upon arrival, one teacher should proceed to the Admissions Desk. Students should remain on the bus for an orientation by our staff. Please bring your confirmation letter and final numbers (students/chaperones/teachers).
If your expected number of students or chaperones changes by five (5) or more, please contact Science Central.
If you are unable to attend on the date of a scheduled Study Trip due to a school weather delay or cancellation, please contact Science Central as soon as possible. We will help reschedule your visit.
Science Central Memberships may be used toward Study Trip admissions with the Member owing for any additional programming costs. ASTC memberships are not valid toward Study Trip admissions.
General admission coupons and discounts are not valid toward Study Trip admissions.
