Earth Day
April 19
Join us for a celebration of Earth Day on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This event will feature guest speakers and special programming with an Earth-related theme. Visitors can learn about iNaturalist and how to participate as citizen scientists. The Fort Wayne area’s City Nature Challenge kicks off April 25th through April 28th for its fifth year, inspiring the community to get outside and record nature. Science Central’s Earth Day can help visitors prepare to use iNaturalist during the challenge. Visitors can also pop into the Nature Nook and touch fossils, see plants, and observe live animals to celebrate our precious globe.
