Celebrate women in STEM and spark the next generation of innovators at Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day at Science Central on Saturday, February 27. This inspiring, hands-on event is designed to increase visibility, opportunity, and access for girls and women to explore the many pathways available in science, technology, engineering, and math. Meet women engineers and learn how problem-solving and design thinking shape real-world innovation.

Guests will participate in interactive engineering activities, attend live demonstrations, and connect with women and others currently pursuing STEM careers and interests. We will feature hands-on engineering exploration stations throughout the museum, with additional event highlights and special features coming soon!

From building structures to exploring advanced technology, this event is about representation, inspiration, and possibility—showing girls what’s available to them and helping them imagine themselves in STEM futures.
