Presented by Fort Wayne Medical Society and Fort Wayne Medical Society Alliance, the 27th annual Doctor’s Day will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. As always, the event is highlighted by free admission to Science Central. Complimentary admissions, capped at 600 for the day, can be claimed on Science Central’s website or at our admissions desk. Science Central will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Doctor’s Day will feature a variety of exciting, hands-on experiences for visitors. There will be opportunities to touch brain, heart, and lung specimens, along with a chance to observe a cow eye dissection. Visitors will be able to explore an ambulance from Lutheran Health Network, plus tour a Lutheran Air medical helicopter, weather permitting. Also, there will be medical and wellness demonstrations throughout the day, plus opportunities to ask questions at “The Doctor Is In” booth and meet doctors, nurses, and other personnel from Indiana University Health.
In addition to presenting sponsors Fort Wayne Medical Society and Fort Wayne Medical Society Alliance, Doctor’s Day is sponsored by Indiana University Health, Lutheran Health Network, and SYM Financial Advisors, who are providing the free admissions.
