Science Central will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 31.

What is the vascular system and how does it work? How does a fetus develop and what are the stages of the birth process? What were some of the tools used to diagnose and treat illness before the advent of modern medicine? These topics, and more, will be explored in a 1,500-square foot temporary exhibition about the human body and healthy lifestyles. A series of 10 exhibits will allow you to learn about blood, birth, antique medical devices, teeth, hearing and vision, tobacco and smoking, AIDS, nutrition and diabetes, and safety. The exhibition is on loan from the Hall of Health, Children’s Hospital & Research Center at Oakland, California.
