Disability Nights
Sessions feature these modifications:
- Lower ambient sound levels
- Increased light in areas that are usually dark
- Access to listening devices
- Less-crowded environment
- Extra staff on hand
- Access to a sensory room
- Access to a private changing table (Science Central)
- Additional demonstrations with extra tactile stimulation

Policies and Procedures
Registration is required to attend a Disability Night. The deadline to register is one week before a session date. Walk-up registration the day of a session is not offered.
All programs are subject to change at Science Central’s discretion.
Science Central and the media frequently take photos/videos of visitors which may be used for future Science Central promotions or publicity. These photos may be used without your consent and without compensation. If you do not want your image used, please avoid photographers and inform them of your desire. As a visitor, you are welcome to take photos for non-commercial use at Science Central.

No. We do not require proof of disability.
A caregiver is any individual who contributes to the wellbeing of a disabled person.
Non-caregivers are welcome to attend on days when Science Central is open to the general public; typically Wednesdays through Sundays. Caregivers are free and non-caregivers would pay full-price admission.
Yes. Science Central is able to accommodate groups and classrooms at Disability Days, along with multiple caregivers.
No. Walk-up registration is not available.
Yes. Science Central has an ADA-compliant elevator.
Yes. Science Central has a large, family-friendly restroom complete with an adjustable-height adult changing table.
Yes. Science Central has listening devices available. Inquire at the admissions desk.

No. For visitors who would like a face covering, masks are available at our admissions desk and a limited number of face shields are available.
