Membership benefits begin immediately after purchase, and can be used towards admission and other applicable benefits such as Gift Shop and program discounts. For a full list of membership benefits, see table above.
If you are visiting an ASTC Partner facility and have not received your official Science Central membership cards yet, please present your confirmation email or receipt as proof of purchase.
Memberships expire at the end of the month, 12 months from the date purchased.
You will need to purchase an “Add-a-Guest” (Plus 1) for this benefit.
We can replace your cards for $10. Alternatively, we can look up your membership at admissions to admit members. If you are traveling and need proof of your membership, you can request that the museum’s admissions staff call us at (260) 424-2400 to confirm. We cannot guarantee that the museum you’re visiting will do this.
Please contact us and we will get new cards to you at no cost.

Gift Membership FAQ
Purchaser/Giver – The person who pays for the membership.
Recipient/Receiver – The person whom the membership will cover.
Entry and Deluxe Gift Memberships are activated when either the recipient comes to Science Central for the first visit or after 90 days; whichever comes first.
MAP Gift Memberships are activated immediately.
Gift Memberships cover free admission for up to 2 named adults living at the same address and any 6 children under 18 for one full year from date of purchase.
By default, the recipient of the Gift Membership will receive the renewal notices. If you would like the purchaser to receive them, please note that when checking out.

As a beloved part of the Fort Wayne community for over 25 years, Science Central is dedicated to providing science education and hands-on fun for communities across our region. We do not receive state or federal funds for our operating expenses. Instead, we rely on memberships, earned revenue, and charitable contributions to provide the support for engaging science learning.
