Science Central | 2027–2032 Strategic Plan

Science Central is launching the development of our next five-year Strategic Plan, and we are inviting qualified consultants to partner with us on this vital project. As a regional hub for hands-on science learning serving more than 150,000 visitors each year, this plan will help guide our mission, our growth, and the future of our facility and programs.

• Project Summary

  We are seeking a consultant who can lead an inclusive and imaginative planning process that:

  • Clarifies and strengthens Science Central’s mission and vision

  • Identifies strategic priorities in education, community engagement, sustainability, and innovation

  • Provides a financial and fundraising framework that supports long-term sustainability

  • Helps shape the direction for future exhibits, facilities, and visitor experience

  • Engages staff, board members, families, donors, and community partners

  • Delivers clear implementation tools and accountability measures

  The selected consultant will conduct document review, facilitate sessions, gather stakeholder input, and create the full 2027–2032 Strategic Plan.

  Budget: $12,000
  Timeline: Winter/Spring 2026 through January 2027
  Proposal Deadline: January 5, 2026
