Volunteers and Interns are incredibly important to Science Central’s success, and are needed in every department. By sharing their time and talent, volunteers help Science Central grow. It’s a great way to get involved in the community while having an enjoyable time at a nationally-recognized science center.
Whether you enjoy working behind the scenes or in front of a crowd, a variety of volunteering opportunities are available and can be tailored specifically to your interests and schedule.
Volunteer
As a Volunteer, you can:
- Work at a nationally recognized science center!
- Make new friends!
- Develop valuable communication and public speaking skills!
- Have fun while inspiring Science Central's visitors!
To Volunteer...
- You must be at least 14 years old or in ninth grade.
- You must consider committing to at least 50 hours of volunteer service!
Volunteer Process:

- Then, interview with Science Central
- Then, background & reference checks are conducted
- Then, create a VolunteerMark account and "Join" Science Central
