Hubble and Webb Space Telescopes: New Views of the Universe
This temporary exhibition immerses visitors in the magnificence and mystery of Hubble’s mission and introduces the James Webb Space Telescope. The exhibition showcases iconic Hubble images and data of planets, galaxies, regions around black holes, and many other fascinating cosmic entities that have captivated scientists for centuries. New Views of the Universe also features a station on the James Webb Space Telescope and some of its initial images.
Numerous hands-on stations cover science, astronaut-servicing missions, and telescope design. These interactive experiences allow visitors to understand solar power, thermal protection, wavelengths of light, and discoveries.
The exhibition was originally developed in partnership between NASA and the Smithsonian Institute Traveling Exhibit Program and is being toured by NASA.
