Camp Schedule
June 5-9 – Summer Sampler Platter, ages 5-12
-REGISTRATION CLOSED-
- Spend a week at Science Central learning about the science that’s all around us. Join us as we study the science of electricity, sound, and matter.
June 12-16 – Intro to Lego Robots, ages 5-8
-SOLD OUT-
- Campers will explore the basics of programming as they get acquainted with a Lego robot, learning how to make the machine do a range of simple motions.
June 12-16 – Junior Lego Robots, ages 9-12
-SOLD OUT-
- In this advanced version of our Lego robotics camp, campers will program their robots to sing, dance, navigate a maze, and more. The last day of camp will feature an epic battle between the machines!
June 19-23 – Don’t Try This At Home, ages 5-12
-SOLD OUT-
- Play with fire, see what it’s like to be inside a bubble, create messy concoctions, and drop things from great heights, all from the confines of Science Central.
July 10-14 – Sci-Fi and Fantasy, ages 5-12
-FEW SPOTS REMAINING-
- How much science is there in your favorite movies? Explore the science and the science fiction behind superheroes and movies.
July 17-21 – Intro to Lego Robots, ages 5-8

- Campers will explore the basics of programming as they get acquainted with a Lego robot, learning how to make the machine do a range of simple motions.
July 17-21 – 3D Printing and Design, ages 9-12
-FEW SPOTS REMAINING-
- Campers will put their design skills to the test as they learn about the art and science of computer design. Campers will ultimately create their own 3D-printed item to take home.
July 24-28 – Don’t Try This At Home, ages 5-8

- Play with fire, see what it’s like to be inside a bubble, create messy concoctions, and drop things from great heights, all from the confines of Science Central.
July 24-28 – Applied Programming Camp, ages 9-12
-FEW SPOTS REMAINING-
- Learn how to program lights, sounds, games, and more with a handheld circuit board. Find out how the electronics we use in our everyday lives work as we explore the inner-workings and practical uses of computers and programming.
July 31-Aug. 4 – High Altitude Balloon Camp, ages 10-16
- Send your science experiments to the edge of space and back at Science Central’s first-ever High Altitude Balloon Camp. We’ll learn about the atmosphere of planets and practice engineering skills as we launch giant, hydrogen-filled balloons and analyze real atmospheric data. The last day of camp will feature an overnight stay at Science Central.

Time: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily
Registration Closes: Twelve days (2 weeks) prior to a camp’s start date, at 10 a.m.
