Science Central’s Family Fun Fest member-only event for Friday, February 23 has been canceled.

A gallery of brightly-colored, educational banners will introduce you to a variety of nature themes. 7 separate sections allow K-12 schools and general public to explore important conservation topics. Pollinators delves into the importance of bees and their decline in population. Wolves focuses on the 4 species in America, and their habitats and lives as predators. Elephants describes their behaviors, emotional and family lives, and poaching. Tiger will test your knowledge on fun facts such as why they have stripes, and how they are similar to house cats, as well as more serious topics like extinction. In Coral Reefs, you can learn how they are nurseries of the sea, and one of Earth’s most biodiverse ecosystems. Hammerhead, allows you to peek inside the behavior and physiology of one of the most unusual shark species. In The Rhinoceros and the Pangolin, you will explore a story of two strange mammals who share a common anatomical secret.
